What You’ll Do
As a Design Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:
Developing and modeling boat systems and components using 2D and 3D CAD tools (Rhino)
Collaborating with suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and performance standards
Supporting manufacturing integration and continuous improvement initiatives
Creating engineering drawings, documentation, and change notices (ECNs)
Validating designs through hands-on fabrication and testing
Ensuring compliance with NMMA, ABYC, and other regulatory standards
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, or related field preferred
2+ years of relevant experience in marine or mechanical design
Proficiency in Rhino for 2D/3D modeling and documentation or similar software
Hands-on fabrication skills and a problem-solving mindset
NMMA Compliance Specialist and ABYC Standards Certifications (or willingness to obtain)
Familiarity with Epicor, Microsoft Office Suite, and CNC file development (Sigmanest)
