Job Summary:
TESS is an industry leader servicing the Mega Yacht Industry. We are seeking experienced Marine Electrical Technicians to join our growing team. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position offering a flexible schedule, competitive benefits, health insurance, and paid vacation time.
Marine Electrical Technicians are responsible for the maintenance, repair, installation, and operation of electrical systems on yachts and marine equipment, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with marine standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain and repair marine electrical systems, including:
Lighting and power systems
Motors, generators, and controllers
Appliances and electrical propulsion systems
Troubleshoot wiring and electrical systems; test low- and high-voltage circuits to ensure safe operation.
Install wiring and electrical equipment on vessels.
Design, inspect, and update bonding and grounding systems to protect vessels and crew.
Protect onboard electrical equipment from damage and environmental exposure.
Secure work areas to prevent electrical shock and ensure safety compliance.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Some college coursework.
ABYC certified preferred
Minimum of three (3) years of related marine electrical experience required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
Ability to work onboard vessels and in confined or marine environments.
